R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company’s Right Decisions Right Now: Be Tobacco Free (RDRN) program has long teamed with the Boy Scouts of America to increase awareness among teens of the dangers of tobacco use.

In 2012, the Boy Scouts created a new patch, earned by scouts who complete the organization’s Trail of Courage program and take the Right Decisions Right Now: Be Tobacco Free pledge.

Reynolds American Inc. continues to demonstrate its passion for creating and maintaining a diverse and highly skilled workplace through its operating companies’ summer internship program.

For the 2015 10-week program, 30 interns worked on a range of projects across 10 departments at RAI and its subsidiaries, including finance, research and development, consumer and trade marketing, and operations. The program is rigorous and is designed to give Reynolds the opportunity to assess interns’ skills and whether they have the potential to become full-time employees. Ultimately, 15 of the 2015 intern class joined us as full-time employees or for a second internship.
